Feeling tired...again!

Feeling tired, but what can you expect after two general anaesthetics in two weeks?  I've been having sudden moments of 'has this really happened' over the last few weeks.  I think since I feel more and more my normal self, recovering from chemotherapy, I sometimes forget the train I am on.......can I actually just get off now?!

I'll get back to my walking regime tomorrow, couldn't manage it today.  But I will get back on track.  I still have muscle aches from the chemo but its getting better every day despite the double surgery setback.

My hair is growing well (though my eyelashes could use some encouragement)....here it is, six weeks post last chemo, though it started growing at about Docetaxel 2.  Yes, it is as fuzzy and fluffy as it looks :-)

  1. You know what I think: if you're tired, rest! However, I know your approach is much more positive! Lx

    1. How to slow me down?.....give me a bloody sore back, picked up a pen and it just went last night.....grrrrrrrrr, I just thought...you've got to be joking! But.....morphine, ibuprofen and codeine and I'm back on my feet :-)

  2. Not only have you had 2 anaesthetics but you're body is twice trying to heal itself as well as still dealing with the tail end of the chemo.
Gradual increase in exercise will get you where you want to be but you're sensible enough to rest when you have to....I think.....
The hair is making a valiant effort, there is definitely something of the Easter Chick about you and I think the 'monk effect' is not so strong now :)
    Go girl, hang in there

  3. Yes, I am rocking the fluffy chick look. I've had a set back with a bad back.....what next? But I will be out on the water with you just after Easter I think, my arm is feeling better every day, just need a couple more weeks for this last surgery to heal completely and then need to find out if I can get into my wetsuit!

    1. Irene, you're not going to believe it but I've done my back in! I've tried to keep walking to keep it mobile but there was a lot of screaming this morning just to get out if bed! I've got some more pain killers from doc so will try to have a long walk this afternoon. X
